How to Schedule a Makeup Class

Question: How do I schedule an absence, and/or a makeup class?

1. To schedule an absence or makeup, go to "Classes & Events" located in the menu, or on the top right of the page.

2. Under "My Schedule", go to the student you wish to schedule an absence/makeup for and click "View [student name]".

3. Click "Absences"

4. Here you will see "Schedule Absences" and "schedule Makeups".

5. If your class says it is "not eligible for makeup", please contact us, and we will be sure to mark it as eligible! 

 Good news! Students who miss a class for any reason, are always welcome to come do a makeup class in another age and level appropriate class, within a month of their absence. Please note: this is to be mostly used for illness and pre-scheduled vacations and not so much because we didn't feel like going to our class today. Also the system will not allow you to make another make-up if you miss your scheduled make-up (although the office can do it for a $10 reset fee if you want). Going to another class is not perfectly ideal for the student or teacher therefore as much as possible we ask that you make your class time a priority. We understand some families have so many activities they don't have time for make-ups and that's ok and understandable too. You can schedule your makeup class yourself through your parent portal with instructions above!
NEW: This year if you have problems arranging the make-ups or any class changes the office can happily help you do this once but after that a $10 change fee will likely be assessed for each time after.
