Alena Lafontaine, 9, has been passionate about dance since she started lessons at Reflections School of Dance at just 5 years old. Her favorite styles are lyrical and contemporary, though she still enjoys ballet. Being part of the dance team is an exciting opportunity for Alena, as she loves expressing herself through movement and performing on stage. She’s also eager to build strong friendships with her teammates. At home, Alena often choreographs her own dances, letting her creativity flow. A fun fact about her? She absolutely loves capybaras and Ramen soup!

•  Baylea Nettelbladt is 11 years old. She has been dancing at Reflections School of Dance since she was 2 years old. Baylea’s favorite form of dance is Ballet but she also really enjoys jazz and hip hop as well. At home she loves to crank the music and freestyle to Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo music. This year Baylea is really excited to be on the Illuminate dance team. She is excited to build strong friendships with all the girls on her team and looks forward to many performances in the future together. Baylea really enjoys spending time with her family and has shared her love for dance with her cousin Eve who is 3 years old and also dances at Reflections. A fun fact about Baylea is that she is obsessed with everything Paris and plans to go there within the next year. 

 Evelyn, or Dolly, as she's known by family and friends, has been taking ballet since she was four years old. She loves music and coming up with dance routines to her favorite songs. Evelyn's dedication to dance does not stop after class, in her free time she is teaching herself Irish Step Dancing. Evelyn is excited to see what God has planned for the Illuminate Dance Team this year and for the friendships to come! 

 Reese Franklin, age 10, has been a student at Reflections School of Dance since she was 7 years old. She was drawn into dance by watching “The Nutcracker” and is now in her fourth year of ballet. Her favorite forms of dance are lyrical and jazz. She dances for the joy that it brings to her. Fun fact about Reese? She loves to rollerblade.
