The CDC plans to recommend that people who test positive for the coronavirus use clinical symptoms to determine when to end isolation. Under the new approach, people would no longer need to stay home if they have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without the aid of medication and their symptoms are mild and improving,

This is the news we have all been waiting for! This has been a crazy time, and we are so grateful to get back to classes! With coming back, there are many things that will be changing. Please take the time to study and understand the following new guidelines and procedures.
Back to Dance with, peace, confidence and JOY.
Dance teachers are artists, creative by nature and we have the ability to re-invent almost any situation to the advantage of everyone involved.
As we, at Reflections, anticipate the emergence of our new and hopefully improved norm, we would like to take this opportunity to communicate what we would anticipate will somewhere be between our pre March 2020 lifestyle and our season of Stay at Home orders.
We expect the following to be temporary guidelines for classroom safety and security but it is possible some will become longer term policies as we follow our evolving health regulations. We are not naive as to think that everything will simply snap back into the way life was before March 2020, nor would we want it to do so. There was a busyness and level of stress that no human should have to endure long term and with the development of "The Great Pause" that we just experienced, we may never want to re-visit that driven lifestyle of our past. A few things that we have removed from our lifestyles may need not ever return. Other things, will resume but probably look different.
As we do re-enter the physical dance studio and continue our in person training, new structures will be in place that we anticipate to be temporary but will abide by as long as possible in consideration of the feelings of safety and comfort for everyone involved.
We anticipate our student enrollment to be smaller initially as we rebuild and this will work to our advantage as the government regulations do not allow for large gatherings. The smaller classroom size will foster excelled training for those students choosing to complete the spring semester with us and participate in the summer schedule.

We encourage everyone to be knowledgeable in what is going on, but to also be gracious with everyone! We love our Reflections Family, and expect everyone to be kind to each other, no matter their views and opinions!
Stay informed, and stay kind!

MASKS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES
In class we are doing our best to practicing physical distancing - of at least 6 feet between, as much as possible, but the guidelines given by the state also require masks.
Although we are required to wear masks by our state, we ourselves are requiring respect and kindness! :)
Please remember that everyone has different opinions, so please be kind and courteous to everyone, and please remind your students to do the same!
..................................................................................................................................
It is the state mandate that face masks need to be worn for all students 5 and older where 6 feet cannot be kept.
If you have questions about this, feel free to check out the article and news covering below.
" There are exemptions, including people with certain disabilities or health conditions, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and children under the age of 2. (It's encouraged to have children ages 3-5 wear a covering if possible. Children 5 and older must wear a face covering.) "

NOTE: At Reflections in the lobby - if you are purchasing and consuming our snacks and drinks you may remove you mask to eat and drink. Please do note that our lobby is closed at this time.
Individuals may remove their face coverings when in public settings under the following circumstances:

(As I glance over the following statements I am reminded that most of these guidelines would have been in place at our studio from day one but now is an excellent time for us to emphasize diligence)
Please be gracious as we are sure there will be multiple adjustments during these next few months.
On one hand our new requirements may seem extreme and even bizarre but we do want to dance and we do want to remain healthy.
Until further notice, please respect and abide by these guidelines and anything else your individual teacher may request. If and when any of these regulations lift at the studio we will notify everyone promptly.
On the bright side, because our institution has been included in Phase 2 by the health officials for re-opening, we do get to go back to class.
